These two exclusive 'Imperforate and Perforated' Reprints of the 1913 1d Red Kangaroo and Map stamp were released in the 2007 Prestige booklet titled, 'Behind the Stamp', compiled and edited by the renowned philatelist, Richard Breckon.

The objective of the booklet was to highlight milestone precedents and marketing trends in the postal service as they evolved through time. Following much heated debate and outcry both in Parliament and the public arena, the Andrew Fisher, Labor government, approved and released the Blamire Young designed, Kangaroo and Map series, Australia's first Commonwealth stamps.

These reprinted stamps are Micro-print dated, 2007 (BL Corner), with the Perforated stamp being Perf 14 1/2 x 14 versus the original issue, Perf 12 1/2. Extant the booklet, we have purposefully removed and trimmed them leaving the two staple indents intact to clarify their origin.
