These two exclusive 'Imperforate and Perforated' Reprints of the 1928 3d Blue Kookaburra stamp were released in the 2007 Prestige booklet titled, 'Behind the Stamp', compiled and edited by the renowned philatelist, Richard Breckon. The objective of the booklet was to highlight milestone precedents and marketing trends in the postal service as they evolved through time.
Whilst not a 'precedent' issue, they do feature Australia's National Bird Emblem - the stamps were included in the booklet in tandem and along with its 1928 Miniature Sheet counterpart - Australia's first miniature sheet.
These reprinted stamps are Micro-print dated, 2007 (BL Corner), with the Perforated stamp being Perf 14 1/2 x 14 versus the original issue, Perf 11. Extant the booklet, we have purposefully removed and trimmed them leaving the two staple indents intact to clarify their origin.
