For the 2013 Centenary of Australia's First Commonwealth Stamps, an exclusive and intriguing Sheetlet 10 of the $10 Kangaroo and Map stamp was released which was soon after, withdrawn from sale by the post office. It featured four 'regular' $10 stamps, two that were overprinted 'Specimen', two which were punctured with 'Small OS'; another with 'Large OS', and an 'Overprinted OS' stamp. It was issued in a stamp pack at a cost of $40.45 which is what became the problem for the post office - their stamp advisory and design committee had wrongfully assumed the punctured and overprinted OS stamps contained within, were not valid for postal use when in actual fact they were - 'Specimen' stamps had never been valid, but OS stamps, distributed to government departments for usage back in the day, were valid. When it became apparent the pack was being bought up with $80 worth of stamps being extracted and used for postage - the post office withdrew it from sale thereby making this sheetlet a very scarce item today.
