For the 2016, 50th Anniversary of the Introduction of Decimal Currency issue, Special editions in Miniature Sheet format featuring the original-issue 'Paper' Australian Decimal Banknotes were released in a limited edition booklet. William Farrer was a pioneering agricultural scientist who revolutionised wheat farming in Australia in the late 19th century. Through meticulous research and experimentation, he developed disease-resistant wheat varieties that thrived in the harsh climate. Of philatelic significance, the stamps are Perforated 13 1/2 x 14 whereas the regular-issue stamps measured Perf 14 1/2 x 14.
